Entering the Home 

Access to the home can be obtained through either the front door or the garage. However, due to parking convenience, the garage entrance is the preferred option. Both the garage and front door can be opened using the entry code. To unlock the front door, simply input the code and the door will open automatically. Please note that there is no garage opener for the property, but you can use the provided code throughout your stay to access the garage.

WiFi Information 

Our internet service provider is InfoWest. Login details are included in property information. In the event WiFi is not functioning properly, you can reset the router located in the washroom by either powering it off or unplugging it for 30 seconds, and then rebooting the router. If the issue persists even after rebooting, please submit a maintenance request.

Pool Information 

To open the pool, please use the keypad located on the wall and enter the code 1234 to unlock the cover. If you find the pool temperature to be too hot or too cool, please submit a request using the provided link, for assistance with adjusting the temperature. Please note that due to the location in Southern Utah, the pool may become quite hot. We clean the pool after each use, but sand may accumulate at the bottom due to the location. To prevent sand from getting into the pool, please remember to close the pool cover when not in use. 

 

Potential tripping or falling hazards exist. 

The ground may be hot and slippery when wet. 

You are responsible for your own safety. Use at your own risk.

No unsupervised children in the spa area

TV Information

The televisions in the property are smart TVs, and cable TV service is not available. These TVs are configured for streaming services such as Roku, Netflix, Hulu, and others. Please ensure that you have your own login credentials for these streaming services. It is recommended to return the remote to its original location by the TV where it was found to avoid any confusion with other remotes.

AC Information 

We kindly request that you do not set the AC temperature below 72 degrees as this may cause the unit to freeze up. In such a scenario, all AC units in the property will need to be turned off for approximately 1-2 hours to allow for the AC unit to unfreeze. Please note that if the AC unit freezes due to being set below 72 degrees, a fee will be charged to cover the cost of unfreezing it. In situations where the outside temperature is extremely high, the AC unit will only be able to cool the property by approximately 25 degrees to prevent the system from overworking and the coils from freezing (e.g. if outside temp is 115 degrees, inside temp will be 90 degrees). Please refrain from adjusting the temperature setting below 72 degrees to ensure the proper functioning of the AC system.

Plumbing Information 

In the event that the garbage disposal stops working, you can usually find a reset button located underneath it (usually red in color), or you can unplug it. If you encounter a clogged toilet, please try using a toilet plunger to resolve the issue. Alternatively, you may submit a request using the provided link to have the clog removed for a fee of $25.00. The main waterline shut-off valve is located in the garage by the water heater.

Missing or Lost Items

If you leave any items behind after your stay, please contact Sand Hollow Vacation Rentals Customer Service at (435) 272-2341. If our cleaning staff finds the items, we can arrange to have them shipped back to you for a shipping and handling fee that will be invoiced separately.

Inventory

The property comes with several amenities, including a highchair and pack n play for infants, cleaning products under the kitchen sink, a coffee maker (please note that coffee is not provided), a toaster, microwave, blender, smart TVs, and blinds for privacy.

Basic Safety Information

Every room is equipped with a smoke detector, and carbon monoxide detectors are installed on every floor. The breaker box can be found near the ___________. In the event that the breaker box trips, please submit a maintenance request.

Emergency Protocol

In the event of an emergency, 

call 911 for assistance 

Call Rob at: (801)623-9691 to report the incident and he will be there within 15 minutes of the call. 

All fire Extinguishers are located in the kitchen and the bunkroom. 

 

Use the P.A.S.S. Technique:

PULL the pin

AIM low, pointing the extinguisher nozzle at the base of the fire 

SQUEEZE the handle to release the extinguisher agent 

SWEEP from side to side at the base of the fire until it appears to be out
